A Butt-Dial is when someone forgets to lock their phone and their phone dials a recent or contact entry in their phone, unbeknownst to the owner of the phone. My name starts with "AA", so I get Butt-Dialed a lot. It's a great way to remind me who I need to reconnect with. Sometimes I hear inapropriate conversations -- Adam Curry is always good for that. So is Richard Brewer Hay, official eBay blogger (utterz user RBH). I'm going to start sharing my butt-dials with the world and talk a bit about the content people disclose during a butt-dial.

Tonight at approximately 9:19 pacific, CC Chapman butt-dialed me. The background was kind of muffled, so I checked his twitter to see where he was. In the most ironic of twists, CC was at the Gordon Biersch in Las Vegas, moments after I'd left teh Gordon Biersch in Palo Alto, where I'd met with Utter user "Roman". Crazy coincidence.

CC is the Social Media ambassador to the world, hailing from west-metro Boston. CC actually worked for me at PodShow for awhile. I didn't sign him to PodShow -- fellow utterer Brian Longest owns that distinction. CC is a great big pile of enthusiasm. I love Accident Hash. Always have, always will.
