Earl, and camels in Vietnam.
I just woke up--not 100% sure why--but I think it was because one of the dogs tipped because he had to go out to pee. I'm on my iPhone now.
I was dreaming.
I don't remember a lot of it, but I don't want to forget the rest. I was hanging out with Earl (I have been watching that tv show a lot lately on DVD) and we were cuddling and giggling and having a good time, and we decided to head towards the bedroom. It was dark in there, and earl being silly threw me on the bed, but I landed on top of someone. It was Scott's girlfriend-slash-wife (but it wasn't, it was some b-lister actress I've seem before, I'll have to try to remember later). I stood up, clenched my fists, and said, you guys have until the count of ten to get out of here. I started counting one... Two... Then I opened my eyes, and she was fully dressed in front of me. She had apparently died her hair brown recently. Hey I like your hair brown, I said. She smiled, then left with Scott.
Earl raised his eyebrows and shrugged his shoulders in his way, then climbed into bed. I cuddled up next to him, looked into his eyes, and said, "I liked he'd hair better blonde."
Then the dream completely changed.
I was in green BDUs, and it was world war II, but we were in a jungle-type
Climate... Luke veitnam... And there were camels. The guys were laughing as I said hey, bring that camel over here... And I climbed up on his bakc and hoisted myself onto the roof of a building.
They snuck me onto the roof of a big body truck. With a foot-high lip around the edge. There was a handful of locals up there. I wasn't supposed to be seen, but I didn't feel in danger, like one of those being-chased dreams. I had my little tiny 2megapixel camera (U30 maybe? Have to look that one up later too) and I was taking pictures of the convoy, lined up side by aide, combing the beach. It took my breath away--whoa-- and I took some good pictures.
When we got back to base camp, a middle-aged man entrusted me with his son. He was about two, and apparently it was nap time. The man started singing in some foreign language, sweetly, then walked off. I looked down at the dark haired little boy...
...then I woke up.
