ReadWriteWeb/ComputerWorld On Utterz Use By ARC

Computer World published an excellent article yesterday highlighting the role Utterz and other Utterz cross-posting connections are playing in assisting the disaster relief efforts of the American Red Cross, "to help relay information to storm victims and Red Cross volunteers in areas affected by the natural disasters, according to Harman, who is senior specialist for interactive media at the Red Cross."

ReadWritWeb published a similar post yesterday that details the American Red Cross's adoption of Utterz "to spread information to the press and people affected by the severe weather."

You can enjoy ReadWriteWeb's excellent article in its entirety here: http://moourl.com/…eadwritewe

This certainly is not the first time we've seen Utterz be a great tool for individuals and groups seeking to broadcast live breaking news or events - whether in the recent instance of two members of community posting live updates from Intel's ISEF Conference http://moourl.com/…zintelisef - particularly from the great people at the American Red Cross, as we witnessed in their work assisting victims of the unfortunate disaster brought on by the Virginia tornadoes: http://moourl.com/…RCvirginia

You may also recall longtime contributor to the Utterz Community (there are rumors he might even be the first to set up an Utterz Connection though we're unable to confirm this), 001brettbum http://tinyurl.com/5bm8xq has traveled to Atlanta, GA on behalf of Utterz to provide "how to" training for a corp of American Red Cross volunteers, check out his updates here: http://moourl.com/…RCbrettbum
