Interview With A 14-Year-Old Text Message Addict

My 13-year-old does not even have a cell phone, so watching my 14-year-old nephew interact with his cell phone was an enlightening experience. After watching him all weekend, I decided to record an audio conversation with him. He sends and receives over 12,000 text messages per month. But his volume is not even close to some of his friends.

I wasn't even allowed to talk to people on the phone at 14. Will it change how he interacts in the future. Absolutely. And it leaves me scratching my head and asking lots of questions.
