Utterli Mobile Shortcuts

You can send special shortcuts to Utterli that allow you to enhance your utters and send them to your other sites. To use these shortcuts, simply send a message to the desired address with a message body that contains the appropriate information.

delete@utterli.comSend a message to delete@utterli.com to delete your last utter. The body of the message will be ignored
go@utterli.comSend text, picture and/or video to go@utterli.com to create an utter. The subject of the message becomes the title of the utter.
join@utterli.comFriends can join Utterli from their mobile phone by sending a message to join@utterli.com containing their signup information. The message should include an e-mail, phone number, and desired username, separated by spaces. If you attach an image to the message it will be used as your avatar. Usernames must contain only letters and numbers, and must be less than 24 characters long. You will receive a response that includes your temporary password. Login and change it any time.
post@utterli.comTo post your last utter to one or more of your cross-posting sites, send the name(s) of the desired cross-posting sites in the body of the message to post@utterli.com.
private@utterli.comSend text, pictures, and/or video to create a private utter. To send to one or more contacts, use "@username" in the message body. The subject of this message will become the title of the utter.
tag@utterli.comTag your last utter by sending space separated tags to tag@utterli.com. Multiple word tags should be in single or double quotes.
title@utterli.comSend the title for your last utter in the body of a message to title@utterli.com.
username@utterli.comTo send a private utter from your handset, use private@utterli.com and include "@username" for the intended recipients(s) in the message body, or send as a direct message to "username@utterli.com"
groupname@utterli.comTo send an utter to a group from your handset, include "@groupname" for the intended group(s) in the message body, or send as a direct message to "groupname@utterli.com"

u.sitename

In addition to using post@utterli.com to select cross-posting sites, you can also embed any cross-posting sites in the same message sent to go@utterli.com to create an utter. In the body of the message, include "u.sitename" for any site that you would like to post this utter to. All "u.sitename" references will be automatically removed from the text. The following example will create a new utter with the text "I am out at the bar having fun" and it will be cross-posted to the sender's cross-posting connections named 'twitter' and 'wordpress'.
